Privacy notice
Who is responsible for your information
New Leaf ESG is the controller of personal information collected through this website and through our business communications. Questions about privacy or requests concerning your information can be sent to hello@new-leaf-esg.com.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide when you contact us, request a resource, complete a form, or book a consultation. This may include your name, work email address, organisation, role, and the information you include in your message.
Our hosting provider may also process technical information when somebody visits the website. This can include an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages or files, referring pages, dates and times, and access, security, or error logs.
How and why we use information
- To respond to enquiries and provide information or services requested by you.
- To arrange consultations and manage prospective or existing client relationships.
- To maintain appropriate business, contractual, and financial records.
- To operate, secure, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal rights and meet legal obligations.
Depending on the circumstances, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in operating the website, responding to enquiries, securing our services, and running our consultancy. If we introduce processing that requires consent, we will request it separately.
Service providers and recipients
This website is hosted by Hostinger. Hostinger may process website files, technical logs, security information, backups, and other customer data on our behalf to provide hosting, content delivery, security, and technical support. Hostinger acts as a processor of hosted customer data under its Data Processing Addendum.
When you submit a consultation form, your name and email address are passed to Calendly so that you can continue with the booking. Calendly handles that information under its privacy notice. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, authorities, or other recipients where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Hostinger, Calendly, or their subprocessors may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where applicable, transfers are protected by an adequacy regulation, standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another recognised legal safeguard. You may contact us for further information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and consultation information only while it remains relevant to the request, prospective relationship, or resulting client work, and then for the period needed to maintain appropriate business records or meet legal obligations. Contractual and financial records may be retained for longer where required by law. Hosting, access, security, and backup records are retained in accordance with our operational needs and the settings and retention practices of the relevant service provider.
Survey access information stored in your browser remains on that device until you select “Use a different email”, clear the website’s stored data, or the browser removes it. New Leaf ESG does not receive this browser-stored information through the current survey preview.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, correct it, ask for it to be erased, restrict its use, object to its use, or receive a portable copy. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. These rights can be subject to legal conditions and exemptions.
To exercise a right, email hello@new-leaf-esg.com. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
