Frequently asked questions
What to expect from New Leaf ESG.
Short answers about our service, the information you need, and how to begin.
Who is the service for?
We primarily support growing businesses and charities that need a proportionate approach to ESG evidence, buyer due diligence, reporting readiness, technology governance, or operational change.
What does New Leaf ESG help with?
We help organisations organise ESG policies, records, carbon information, supplier evidence, and responsibilities. The aim is to answer buyer, funder, partner, and reporting questions with information that can be checked.
What happens during the 90-day review?
We review what already exists, identify gaps, document important ways of working, assign owners, and organise supporting evidence. You receive clear priorities and a practical route for maintaining the information.
How do we get started?
Complete the quick ESG check or book an initial consultation. We will discuss what has prompted the review and suggest the most useful next step.
Do we need to be pursuing B Corp or EcoVadis?
No. We can use relevant parts of recognised standards where they help, but the work begins with your organisation, your customers, and the evidence you actually need.
What information do we need to provide?
Typical inputs include policies, buyer questionnaires, supplier records, workforce information, energy or carbon data, board responsibilities, and examples of how decisions and reviews are recorded.
Can you help with a buyer or supplier questionnaire?
Yes. We can review the questions, connect answers to existing evidence, identify what is missing, and help your team prepare clear responses without making unsupported claims.
Is the scorecard a formal certification or audit?
No. It is an indicative assessment that helps identify strengths and gaps. It is not a certification, assurance engagement, audit opinion, or formal B Corp or EcoVadis rating.
